grouper sandwich
We came to scope out the restaurant because we will be having a wedding rehearsal dinner in April. We were greeted by 2 people in addition to our server. Wow! What a way to make us feel welcome! The atmosphere is wonderful. Such a beautiful view of the lake. There is quite a variety of food on the menu. After ordering, our lunches arrived quickly. The best part: everyone was pleased with their meal. I chose the grouper sandwich and loved it! We will be back!
Mahi Sandwich
Started out not a good time. Our waiter was a bit odd acting, and later saw him just walk away from the restaurant. He had said that he had another server coming to us. We waited for over an hour. I flagged down 2 people and asked if we could get a server. Finally the 3rd one did something about it. Kristina came to our table and explained that the original server became ill and had to leave. They had no idea who his tables were or anything. She quickly set to making it right. We had to reorder, my Mahi sandwich was blackened, but I might have forgotten to specify to her how I wanted it. She did everything in her power to make the situation better. They just dropped the ball when they didn't follow up on the other waiter's tables. Will I go back again, sure.

Strawberry Avocado Salad
Delicious salad. I had salmon added to it and it was a great meal! I ate every bite and I'm usually the one who eats all the "good stuff" and leaves the rest. Wonderfully done!
Old Bay Peel & Eat Shrimp Full Pound
Emily has been our server multiple times. She treats us like family! Wesley the host is awesome! He always smiles and is so friendly. Great place to enjoy a meal with really nice people who work there.
Haddock Dinner
The first impression you get when you try a new restaurant is the hostess, and we were not disappointed! Cathy, the hostess, was warm and welcoming when our party entered, and she explained about the lift and gave us information about the restaurant. She seated us at a wonderful scenic table where we could look out on the lake. She also explained that on the weekends, we could enjoy live music. Cathy actually made us feel appreciated and special, and she is a true gem, an asset to the Waterfront Restaurant. The food lived up to our expectations and I highly recommend!
Seared Ahi Tuna
My husband and I wanted to put a big shout out to Chris the manager. He is a very hard worker and very pleasant. He went out of his way to make our evening very enjoyable he also has quite the sense of humor. We just wanted to say we enjoyed our evening very very much. The atmosphere is very enjoyable and the food is very very good. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone we will most definitely will be back.
Shrimp and Grits
Steven was our server. He gave us stellar customer service. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was delicious 😋 i had the fried cod with shrimp and froes, my husband had the crab cakes with onion rings...we will be going back!!!
Grouper Steak Solo
My husband and I took his Mom to lunch on Friday. We always eat wherever Courtney is working. That day she was upstairs. We had a beautiful view and wonderful service as always. The entire staff are friendly and seem genuinely happy to be working there! I had the Grouper dinner with asparagus and side salad. The fish was seasoned perfectly! I almost always ask for tartar sauce with fish but it didn't even cross my mind it was so delicious!! This is definitely my new FAVORITE!! My husband had the sirloin and Mom had the Ahi again because both or so consistently great! FINALLY a GREAT restaurant in Lake County with great seafood and so much more.
